After decades in the market, PDI-PROS founder Dominic Iemma recognized a growing challenge facing dealerships across the country: too many RVs arriving with preventable quality control issues that delayed sales and frustrated customers. Through years of feedback from dealers purchasing units from Elkhart-based OEM manufacturers, he saw firsthand the need for a better solution. That insight led him to found PDI-PROS — the first company dedicated exclusively to inspecting RVs in Elkhart before they are shipped to dealerships. A lifelong resident of Elkhart, Dominic has spent his entire career helping shape the heart of America’s RV industry. Starting from humble beginnings in final finish during the booming converted van era, he rose through the ranks by mastering every phase of the recreational vehicle business — from hands-on production and design to branding, sales, and high-level marketing strategy. Having worked directly “on the line” and later founding his own RV-focused advertising agency, Dominic brings unmatched expertise across all aspects of recreational vehicles. His leadership and industry insight helped one of the RV industry’s “Big Two” manufacturers grow annual sales from less than $1 billion to more than $5 billion in just over a decade, cementing his reputation as a driving force behind the industry’s unprecedented growth and success.
